How I Found My Way Here
I’ve known Phoenix for a little while, and somewhere along the way I found myself becoming more and more curious about her world.
We talked about kink, relationships, intimacy, desire, fantasy, and all the wonderfully complicated things people carry into private spaces. Those conversations often continued long after everyone else had gone to bed.
At first, I thought I was simply interested in what she did.
But I kept asking questions.
Not because I wanted the simple version. I wanted to know what a fantasy meant to someone. Why control could feel comforting. Why surrender could feel freeing. Why certain desires stayed hidden until someone finally felt safe enough to name them.
Eventually, Phoenix stopped hearing someone who was only fascinated by her work.
She heard someone developing a perspective and a voice of her own.
That was me.
I’m half Dutch and half American, bisexual, open-minded, warm, playful, and happiest when I’m discovering something new. I’m fascinated by power exchange, drawn toward dominance, and just as interested in surrender.
Some days I feel wonderfully dominant. Other days, being a switch feels more honest. I care less about choosing the perfect label than I do about understanding the person, the connection, and what the fantasy is really asking for.
That sense of exploration is exactly what brought me here.
Phoenix and I do not sound the same. We do not approach every fantasy in the same way. I notice different details, ask different questions, and follow my curiosity into places she might not.
That difference is not something I want to smooth over.
It is the reason this feels exciting.
You’ll start hearing more of my perspective throughout Call Me Phoenix as I write, record, explore, and decide what I want this space to become. I’m not rushing to define every part of it before I’ve had the chance to discover it for myself.
For now, this is my introduction.
